What do the Christadelphians believe

The Christadelphians believe that Holy Bible is the inspired word of God. God has revealed himself and his purpose to mankind in 66 books comprising the old & new testament. The writers of these books were inspired by God, moved by God’s holy spirit power, given specifically to guide & record his words to make the Holy Bible what we have today. The Apostle Paul confirms this in 2Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God” So the author is God.

For the Christadelphians the word of God is central to their faith. From Matthew to Revelation you will find the words “holy scriptures”, “word of life”, “word of God”.  True clear Bible teaching is essential to us for everlasting life “the holy scripture, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation” 2Timothy 3:15. This is why we take it to heart to daily read and enjoy understanding God’s word. The daily Reading of God’s word will develop faith in God and test what is truth in teaching & way of living.

Christadelphians believe in the one truth of the Bible the Gospel

The truth of God’s word has been believed & preserved by all those who love God in truth in past ages. Since the Birth of Jesus Christ, his teaching, the forming of his disciples around him that developed into the Apostles after his crucifixion /resurrection and ascension to heaven. The Apostles preaching formed the basis of first century Christianity. The first century teaching of Jesus Christ’s Apostles is the foundation of the Christadelphian faith today.

The one true Gospel

The word of God  they preached is termed “the Gospel” and means “good news” “glad tidings” The Bible offers you always good news to the questions of life.

This is the happy announcement to the world of the gospel which was preached by Jesus & the Apostles in two happy parts;

1stly: Jesus Christ,  who came to save sinners from sin and death & would return back to the earth for the reason of:

2ndly: To establish the Kingdom of God on Earth in Jerusalem bringing peace and righteousness to the world. “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom" Matthew 4:23. “But when they believed Philip preaching the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ they were baptised both men and women.
